These cables are designed for the installation of external pipes subject to risk of freezing of the liquid inside them. They have already installed a thermostat in the heating cable. This thermostat is responsible for turning off power to the heating cable only when there is a real need to turn on the heat. 

They are available in different lengths and wattages.
